The COVID-19 pandemic is taking a devastating toll on the world. While most of us are not able to be on the front line fighting the virus, it is in times like this when we must work together to do what we can to make a difference. Laborers' Local 773 has been chosen as a top participant in a USDA Corona Virus Food assistance program. This is part of a design to help farmers and ranchers maintain the food supply chain, while helping to ensure that Americans have access to fresh foods. In conjunction with ULLICO Inc and TLC of Southern Illinois we have embarked on a wonderful opportunity to help those that have been affected by COVID-19.

Since the pandemic, we have been delivering hundreds of cases of food to our most vulnerable as we do door to door well checks with our Retirees. Beginning on the first Thursday in June, we will continue our COVID RELIEF FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM as we distribute free boxes of fresh produce and dairy products right from our parking lot to ANY American that can use it. This program is a no contact program to keep everyone safe and it will last until our supplies run out.  Our plan is to feed as many people in need as we possibly can and we hope to continue this program every week as long as we possibly can. Our distribution is mobile so we will be setting up in different areas of Illinois.
