Safety Incentive Day 2020 and 2021 will be held March 17th at Carterville Community Center

Eligible members will be notified by mail the week of March 7th, you must be present to win!



The purpose of safety incentive day is it emphasizes the importance of creating and maintaining a safe work environment with the ultimate goal being zero injuries and/or accidents. Eligible participants will have worked a minimum of 700 hours for the entire year of 2020 and/or 2021 within the boundaries of the Southern and Central Illinois Laborers’ District Council as verified by reports for contributing contractors to the Central Laborer’ Pension Fund. Participants must have no lost time or recordable event due to a work related accident and have no break in service.


Our event will be held on March 17th at 6pm at the Carterville Community Center. Registration at 5pm.


$10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded for the year 2020 and $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded for the year 2021. An eligible participant could win up to $1,000 in cash!


Rules:


Member must be in good standings with their representative Local during the eligibility period January 1, through December 31, 2020 and/or January 1, through December 31, 2021 and at the time of the Safety Incentive Event.


Member must have the required amount of hours within the jurisdictional boundaries of the Southern/Central Illinois Laborers' District Council during the eligibility period.


Member must have required hours worked in the Construction Industry with no lost-time job related injuries and meet required hours set by Southern/Central LECET Board of Trustees year to year.


Member must have non-negative Drug Test results during the eligibility period and up to the time of the event.


Members who retire are eligible to participate in the event provided he/she meet the required hours of work in the Construction Industry during the eligibility period. All qualification rules apply.


The winner of any prize should it be a taxable amount ($600.00) or more will be taxed on the fair market value of the prize and will receive a 1099 from Southern/Central Illinois Laborers'-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust.


Members must be present to win.


Required eligibility hours for 2020 and/or 2021 Safety Incentive Event set by Southern/Central Illinois Laborers'-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Board of Trustees are 700. Members must meet all other eligibility requirements.
