Construction Craft Laborers

Local 773 construction craft laborers perform a wide range of construction work including building ball park stadiums and hospitals to digging the sewer trenches and pipe laying. We make buildings safer by removing hazardous materials like asbestos and lead. Our skills include pouring concrete, demolition work, environmental and hazardous waste cleanup, pipe layers, hoisting and rigging, landscaping, digging, loading and unloading, roadwork, mason tender, storm sewers, traffic control, waterlines and scaffolding just to name a few. Laborers are employed in all areas of construction, including commercial and residential. We have the best trained, highest skilled, hardest working people in the industry and take pride in our work with thousands of hours of experience of on the job and classroom training before becoming a journeyman. With training centers in Marion, IL and Mt Sterling, Illinois the training that local 773 laborers receive meets or exceeds OSHA, EPA and other regulatory standards.

The jurisdiction of Local 773 covers the thirteen southernmost counties in Illinois which includes Gallatin, Hardin, Johnson, Pope, Saline, Union, Massac, Williamson, Perry, Jackson, Pulaski, Franklin, Alexander.
