Who We Are
Together we are an army that is 4.000 members strong throughout our local and half a million strong internationally.
When you carry a LiUNA Local 773 membership card, you are part of one of the most progressive and diverse locals in the International Union. From building cities, roads, waterways, and railroads to nurses, bus drivers, factory workers, law enforcement, dispatchers, firemen, teacher’s aids, grounds keepers, maintenance workers, school and hospital cooks and custodians, as well as state, county and city government workers.
We make our voices heard at the State Capitals and nationwide. Our members push for legislation to support what we stand for and what we fight for. LiUNA members protect our rights for good jobs and fair pay, including fighting against the so called “Right to Work” laws, defending the family-supporting Davis-Bacon Act and infrastructure projects that create good jobs.
